01 The place

Not just a shop — one of the great whisky houses of New York.

Park Avenue Liquor Shop is a Midtown institution and, by common consent, one of the most respected whisky retailers in the country — a family-run house with a wall of rare, allocated and collectible bottles that draws serious enthusiasts from across the city and beyond.

The people are the point. Behind the counter is a family and a staff who genuinely know whisky — the kind who run their own celebrated whisky walks and can talk a cask through with real authority. For a client who already loves the category, an evening here carries a quiet prestige a hotel function room never could.

02 An evening among the bottles

Where Ambassador offers a private room, Park Avenue offers the collection.
Park Avenue Liquor Shop interior — curated shelving and cold room

The tasting happens in the shop itself, surrounded by one of the finest whisky selections in New York — an in-store guided tasting led with the staff's deep knowledge close at hand. It's warm and characterful rather than formal: prestige without the stuffiness.

It suits a particular client — the enthusiast, the collector, the one who'll relish tasting your cask's progression while standing in a temple to the category.

The enthusiast in the room

Reach for Park Avenue when your twelve are whisky people — clients who'll appreciate the pedigree, the rare bottles on the shelves, and staff who can go deep. It's the connoisseur's evening: the setting does half the storytelling before the first pour.

03 Your evening here

What happens on the night — and what we handle for you.
1
We ship everything ahead. Your twelve progression samples are drawn and bespoke-labelled, and sent — with Tippler & Roller pours, twelve take-home bottles and printed tasting sheets — direct to Park Avenue. You just arrive.
2
You bring your twelve. A fresh twelve of your clients each tasting. Park Avenue's team sets the space and pours alongside.
3
We guide the flight. A seated progression tasting among the collection, roughly ninety minutes, paced pour by pour — in person or live from Larch Grove.
4
Everyone leaves with a bottle. Take-home bottles and allocations are handed out on-site — and in a shop like this, expect a few to leave with more besides.
